Aaaaa got your attention didn't it? How awesome would a native 5 be if they dropped the back lock and used those beefy liners for a liner lock knife. Or even better make a Ti side frame lock.

Have had a couple natives now and always end up ridding myself of them becuase I can't get over the back lock. Not that it isn't solid or anything. It's just for years now I have just been used to opening and closing with only the one hand. Most times actually call for closing with with one as to not let go of whatever was just cut. I don't mind soydercos compression lock, but the pm2 is too long for my tastes and the para 3 is just not a native 5. While they're at it might as well make a new steel version, M4?

Mmaybe something like that, but it still isn't the native. That knife screams tenacious to me. While a lot alike, I like the deeper choil of the native and the distinct point while still having a good belly on its blade.

Kinda looks likes a Tenacious/Native love child to me :D

It's a Tenative.... or a Nanacious!

I like backlocks just as much as framelocks...and can easily close them with one hand.

I have kind of large hands and long fingers, I find I'm almost pointing the knife straight down and only holding it with 2 fingers to disengage the back lock. Solid lock just not for me. Prefer to use my thumb while still having 4 fingers around the knife.
