Native 5-FRN

Not in the slightest. Liners are nigh but unnecessary. Get one.

I've batoned out of necessity with my linerless native 4. Still no play, and it's pinned.
 
I have several Natives: The carbon fiber S110V, the fluted titanium (sweet knife!), a lightweight in S30V with black FRN (one of my favorite knives ever), and one in S30V with pink FRN for my girlfriend. Seriously nice knives.
 
I had one of these Natives for about a week before I decided in a Spydie that size I'd rather have a Delica. The absence of liners never bothered me and always thought it to be a stout little knife. I just didn't like the squared corners, thickness, choil, and much louder lock all in comparison to the Delica. If the handles on the Native break you'd most likely be abusing it far outside of normal use.
 
The large online book/everything store has them right now at $80. Amazing. ;)
 
The only one I can find on there is $145. :confused: I have $50 gift card to use, and I was going to do the Dragonfly, but….
 
I just put in the search string Native 5 and the first to pop up is the LW model. Vendor indicates 8 in stock with free shipping. If you have trouble, pm me and I'll shoot you the link.

Ah, my bad there - Yeah the LW. I went right past the G10 is what he's looking for. My mistake.Need more caffeine. Or less maybe. Sorry.

I have seen a few of the forum model seconds popping up on the exchange at good prices. I picked up one and comparing it my regular forum one, I really can't see a difference. Dunno what makes a second.

Man I got excited for a second there! Native 5 g-10 is on my must have list, unfortunately it will probably never happen.
 
I'm a liners guy. Not nuts about FRN but with the liners, I've grown quite attached to my Delica. I think I'm going to do the Native 5 with G-10. After that I can see a G-10 Manix 2.
