It has the factory bevel and I applied a nicely honed (but not mirror) 40° micro bevel with the Sharpmaker. I cut down probably 20 boxes with it and it is still sharp. Not shaving sharp, but will slice copy paper still. This steel is amazing. (Rc 68-70)
No stains or rust. I carried it about 5-10 days, and had it in my desk drawer at work for months, using occasionally. You can't really tell it from new, other than by looking at my micro bevel.
