Hand picked and purchased new by me at Smoky Mountain Knife Works just a couple months ago. I carried this knife a couple times but have never cut anything. One very small pepper spot near pivot I recently noticed, but no patina on blade. Rock solid lockup, blade drops freely, and centering looks perfect to me. Besides that one tiny spot, this is a perfect specimen!
Spyderco Sage 5 $95 Sold
Purchased this here on the forum as lightly carried. I polished the washers and sharpened it on my Wicked Edge at 17 degrees per side. Knife is extremely sharp! Action is very smooth but not perfectly drop free. Lockup is good, blade centering is very close to center (at worst 60/40).
Chaparral LW $70 Sold
Purchased this here on the forum. I have carried this knife a couple times but have cut nothing with it. Sharpened on my Wicked Edge at 17.5 degrees per side. Knife is extremely sharp! Lockup is awesome and blade centering is close to center (same as the Sage 5 listed above, I believe at worst 60/40).
