Native American War Clubs

Wish I never saw this thread - these things are beautiful. We had a storm that blew over hundreds of trees, roots sticking up everywhere. I'll be headed into the woods to find some warclub material for sure.

I have been researching on how to finish Tiger Maple to give it that old Kentucky rifle stock look seems like leather dyes and all sorts of concoctions are out there think I read them all including Aquafortis pretty complicated stuff. I'm gonna just try sanding thru grits 120 to 220 then multiple coats of boiled linseed oil a few weeks of dry time than some kind of sealer. Anybody have any other ideas please let me know a few more examples I found of similar clubs to what I have coming.

Wasn't sure were to post this thought I would try here over the last few days I've been looking for a good war club. The ball head variety sort of what Cold Steel offers but made of hard wood and functional. Found a few online and tried to order one but seems both vendor's are out of stock with lengthy waits before they get more. My question is does anybody know of a place were I could either buy one have somebody make one or even get a piece of wood and make one myself? Thanks in advance Rich
I'm me I'm here I think I've actually found and old war clubs if I post some pics could you guess tell me if it is or not

Check out a product called Majestic Maple

Shorter warclubs are better for multiple strikes , the longer ones take too long to recover from a swing
