I've been thinking about buying a Native to be my standard beat-up-around camp EDC for several reasons. 1) it's expensive; 2) the FRN handles are pretty easy to clean up and hold on to; 3) it would hurt me a lot less to lose a $50 knife instead of my Military, one of the Chinooks, or my "priceless" titanium ATR; 4) I really like the looks. So..any opinions? Thanks.:)

Buy it. :D

There's so many choices---S30V, the III, the stainless steel, and some rarer ones too..which one do you like the best?

I personally prefer the III. VG-10 is easier to sharpen, and the thicker scales feel better in my hand. The false grind on the blade also looks better, IMO.

I'll never suggest the Native is a bad choice, but the Yojimbo for only $30 more is a smoking good deal.
