Hi. Just got my new Native today. Within one hour of getting it I was on my way to the emergency room for 3 stitches in my left forefinger. I broke the "be aware of your body parts rule"

Nice knife though. Kinda wished I hadn't cut myself so bad. Could have been worse.

The spydie bug bites (or cuts).

RDaneel - Sorry 'bout that. Hope healing is quick & not uncomfortable.

Thanks, Sal. Not your knife's fault. A good lesson learned for me, though.

I really do like the knife. I'm suprised the blade stock is so thick; it gives a real solid feel to the knife.

Some of you may remember that I cut myself for only the second time in my life with my then new BF Native last spring. Ther thing was so sharp that I saw blood on the tafle top before I realized that I had sliced my index finger! No stitches were neede, fortunately.

I've found that the knives I enjoy the most are the ones that get mein the fingers!
I once cut the tip of my left middle finger with my Applegate / Fairbairn Folding Combat. MAN, did it bleed! Felt so dumb, I told my wife it was a PAPER CUT from Blade Magazine!!Looking back, I'm sure she knew it wasn't a paper cut!! LOL
