Native Metal Clip Lost

I gave my daughter a Spyderco Native as a gift. Somehow she lost the metal clip and one of the screws that attached it to the handle.

The Spyderco online catalog does not list this item. The only mention I can find on the Spyderco website is in the return/repair section. It lists $20 for the repair and $5 for shipping. There must be a cheaper place to find a replacement clip and install it myself.

Do any of you know where I can find a replacement clip?

You will have to wait until Tuesday, but if you call them, they will send you one. They just don't list them on the website.

Contact SFO on Tuesday, opens at 1000 MDT. Our crew there can help you get the clip you need. The Clips are actually a Clip Kit, so everything you need will be included.

tazkristi, you and the whole Spyderco operation are top notch. This is just another great thing about Bladeforums.

Wow!
I did not expect to get such a fast answer. Thanks for the help. I'll call Spyderco this week!

I need one for my Native also let us know what they charge you. I emailed them and they said it would cost $12 plus $5 for shipping. $17 is too much to spend on 4 or 5 year old knife that works fine without a clip. It has been a year or so since I checked so it may have changed. My clip was all sprung and has been rebent so many times that it won't stay clipped tight. I was worried about it getting lost so it now rides in the pocket.

Here is the end result of my quest for the Native clip.
I called the outlet store last Tuesday (September 2) and spoke with Rachel. She was very pleasant and a great rep for the company. She knew exactly what I needed and had my order in the system within a couple of minutes.
The cost for the clip was $7.95 plus $1.00 for shipping.
The clip arrived in my PO box this morning. I'll loctite it when I put it on my daughter's knife later today.
The service I got from Spyderco was amazing. I posted this question thinking I would get advice from other members. I did not expect to get a response from the company (thanks Kristi!) and it was over the Labor Day holiday weekend. The only slow part of the process was the US mail but one week from the phone call to my hands is still very reasonable.
The customer service I got from Spyderco impressed me. I live in a military town. Most of our local businesses don't care if you are pleased with their service because a new airman will transfer in next month to replace the one they upset this month. Because of that attitude among the businessmen in my town, good customer service like this stands out and will get more business from me as well as a good recommendation to my friends and co-workers.
It has been a while since I purchased a knife. The next one I buy will be a Spyderco.
