I have a friend who has a Native 3 C78S and he snapped a small piece of the tip(you wouldn't really notice it if you where 10ft away) but he was wondering if you sent it in to Spyderco if they could replace the blade with a plain edge blade instead of a serrated edged blade.

Generally speaking, Spyderco does not replace blades. Since it is a Seki made knife, they would be unlikely to have a blade on hand in Golden anyway. They could probably regrind the tip for a fee.
