Native with S35V and G10 or Paramilitary 2

If you like playing with the knife then the Para 2. I have 6 Para 2 knives in different steels. I use the S30V as my EDC. Its very durable and flicks great. I have the Native 5 and it is a a very stout knife, great EDC knife
If you like playing with then knife then get PM2 if you want a good looking knife wit a very strong lock and steel go for the native 5.

If you like playing with your knives the native is a bad choice because of the backlock. The backlock does not lend itself to being flicked open. I had the blurple in s110v And sold it because it was no fun to play with. If you don't have a paramilitary in your collection or even if you don't have a collection the Para 2 is a must have. Easy to find on Ebay for good prices or here on the forum. Just be careful and buy it from a reputable source.
I believe it is the most copied. If your in the mood splurge and get the s110v with the blurple scales, Its worth it. Good luck

Handle both in person and decide. Also look at the FRN version of the Native 5, and the Para 3.

After a week or so of going around on this and finding out that no one in my area carries Spyderco I decided to order an Endura. I really like the Delica and find it a good stout knife. It seemed the Endura was a good way to go for something a bit larger for occasions when that is desirable. I'll keep an eye on what Spyderco is doing as a Native may still be in my future. The Shaman looks interesting too.

I just cannot love the PM2. I have tried. I have an S110V version. I gave away a camo version. I love the blade, but the handle is a bit too cramped for me. I have the same issue with the Native 5. The handle is a tad small, but I can live with it because there is no pommel guard cramping my fingers. I am not a fan of the bit choil, either. If it were like that on the Millie I would be happy.

I much prefer the Manix 2 back lock to the PM2, any day. I also like the way the Delica fits my hand better than the Native. If I want a strong small knife, though, I would get the Native.
