Natural / Not Dyed Bone

What do you think of this? It's not dyed...

The bone on this customized Camillus was salvaged from an earth moving project on the site of a historic slaughterhouse. The bone is naturally stained from the red soil it had been buried in.
 


The IRJ is about 7 mos. older than the new BSK. Not sure if the bone has darkened a bit, or if it just came that way. I am sure, however, that the natural bone will darken in time. Sure makes a beautiful knife.

I've only got one right now but that will be changing for sure! I have the 77 Spear Barlow reserved with smooth ivory bone.
