I just pulled one out of the Salcha River a couple of hours ago and got to thinking how my NO would do at cutting him up. I must say, it didn't do a bad a job.
Jerry, I think you should reconsider and send some of those test blades up to Alaska. I've already used my NO to dig holes in the dirt, pry and chop tree roots, clear 4 wheeler trails, cut small trees down and now cut up a king salmon. And I'm just getting started, just wait till hunting season rolls around.
Yowza!!!! What a monster!!!! Hey Mojo Jojo, these next test teams for the Battle Mistress and Paul's Hatchet are opened to every locale!!!! At least that's what they're telling me! So, be sure to sign up!!!!
Alright, I'll be sure to sign up for the BM and Hatchet test teams. I'm sure SpearHead will be happy to hear that also. I didn't have a scale to weigh the fish but I estimated it to be about 30 - 35lbs. I hope to hook into one of those 70 pounders some day but I'd be just as happy with a 50+.
Well Chuck... that sounds like a fairly attractive deal. But, we'll have to attach a "Machete Rider" to that contract... Cause to get to some of the better fishin' holes, we're going to need that bad boy.
Do you have a boat Spearhead? I'm still trying to convince my wife that I need one. With the right boat I could go to Valdez and do some halibut & salmon fishing, maybe drop some shrimp baskets overboard as well as hunt black bear and black tail. I could also float some of the many rivers of the interior for moose and fish for salmon too. I know I may be flamed for saying this but maybe I should cut back on buying INFI and start putting that money away for a down payment on a boat. Of course I'm saying this as I sit here for the longest 2 weeks of my life waiting for my desert SH to arrive and after I bought an AD with letherman sheath from a forum member.
