I just purchased a Natural Outlaw. This knife has the old style coating. I was told this makes the knife more valuable as they are not made this way anymore. I just wanted to know if this is true?

Value is subjective. Personally, I don't believe a knife can have any value until it has been beaten senseless. Which in turn means that Cliff Stamp has the most valuable knives on the planet! Of course, if you become a "Stamp Collector" (Collector of Cliff Stamp's destroyed blades), you'll be the only collector in the world whose prized possessions are held together by hot glue and duct tape. . . . hmmmmm. . . yeah, the smooth finished ones are rare. . . I wouldn't let Cliff anywhere near it! You should see what he did to a Basic #7 . . .

The solution is simple. Buy a new wrinkled finish Natural Outlaw and beat it to death. Then you can put your smooth finished Outlaw up for a couple of years until the kids go to college . .. . with the way knife values are rising. . . . it may prove to be better than a full scholarship. . . .
