I thought these might be good slabs for knife displays. They have been drum sanded flat and sprayed on the cut surfaces with a light coat of lacquer. You could use them as is or sand finer to really bring out the grain and figure. Since these are irregular shapes the measurements are taken from the furthest points. I included the tape measure to help give perspective.
Just don't let your wife see these. My wife has pieces like this all over our house. Anything from a big coaster on the dining table, to under pottery and figurines, even one next to the computer to set her coffee cup on.
