Navigator Question

I just saw this model online today. I like the looks of the vented aluminum handles.

Should I get a plain or spyderedge?

I already carry a plain-edge Native.

Hi Clay,

I've got one of the G-10 Navigator's in spyderedge and I think it's great. It's just big enough to handle serrated-duties but anything smaller would make it useless as far as serrated blades are concerned. As for the slotted almite version you saw, I think I'd opt for a plainedge. It would look much more beautiful in a plain version than a serrated one. Of course, if you really had cash to spare, get one of each. For myself, I'm planning to get a plain almite slotted version to complement my serrated G-10 one. Hope this helps.

I use an Almite (slotted) Navigator in plain edge for flying commercial airlines. As a money clip it has offended none so far. It is an elegant piece.
