Don't knifemakers require a special status to advertise on BF?
 
That's why the Mods are so important, it's up to them to decide whether the guy is trying to do a good /nice thing (and after the reviews get a higher membership to sell as a manufacturer) or deliberately skirting the rules. I'm glad we have them (most of the time ;)). :thumbsup:

I am quietly confident that if the review samples go out as promised, regardless of how the reviews pan out, Demkov will end up with the appropriate membership. Call it intuition.

That’s awesome brother. Trust me, I wasn’t going to complain about waiting for the knife to show up! I am super grateful for the opportunity to test your knife. Looks awesome!!!!
 
Got home today to find a package waiting for me. I thought it was a compass that was due to be delivered, but it was too heavy and had been sent from Russia...

I’ll post a separate review thread tomorrow, but in the meantime I will say that this is a beautifully made knife. The fit and finish is outstanding. Here are some pictures to whet your appetites:
