Yesterday I dropped by a local jewelry store because I heard that they had a selection of William Henry knives. They had a great selection of the fancy models. But mixed in with the WH knives is a NIB Lum Chinese, green handle. He must have had it sitting around unsold for a long time.

How much are these going for now? They are asking $199. I don't have the money to get it myself, since I'm trying to save up for a big family trip later this year (this is going to hurt, I may not be able to buy a knife all year!). If this is a good price, I know where you can get it.

I have seen them go for $125+, plain is more desirable the serrated.

If you're thinking about picking it up make sure to examine the lockup carefully, and look it over for burrs, sharp edges where they shouldn't be.

Also eventually the new ZDP-189 model will come out, and likely be more desirable the the first series.

The last NIB Plain Edge Lum i saw at auction ended at $250. I was fairly certain i've seen them go as high as $330 in the past, but with the Sprint Run inching closer demand may have dropped a little bit.

I for one can't wait for the new black Lum, but how about the Blue Lum? I haven't seen those for sale in a Looooooong time.

The Lum is a great looking knife. I would not mind owning a couple of those. Very good design. Can't wait for the sprint run.

It is plain edge. I did notice that the liner just barely meets the tang, so the lockup isn't what I would like. I was also surprised by how light it is.

I can't spare the cash right now, so I will have to pass.
