Well, I think a good time was had by all. Even before our surprise guests arrived, fashionably late, we had the best turnout ever for a NE Ohio Busse event. Then we felt a whirlwind approaching, and that barely contained bundle of energy, Amy-0, swept into the room. Oh, yeah, Garth came, too. Jerry was posting the location of the sneak peek of the Killa Zilla just as our friends from Wauseon arrived.
Then Garth confiscated all our cameras and cell phones and opened up a box of toys for a special showing. OMG! Gonna be some happy people when these knives drop.
here are the pictures I can show.
from the left, that's rtiger2, steelnut, intel440, forager, Vivi and his girlfriend.
roenman has spoken with Amy many times before, but this was the first chance to meet her. I keep telling him he has to come down to Blade.
Garth with a box of secrets
This one's for Drew
forager did the honors with his NMFBM LE
the last piece went home with steelnut, in an autographed box. Sorry, it's already sold (that guy will flip anything)
There were some knives there. roenman has a serious Custom Shop habit.
I brought a few, too.
Thanks to all for attending, to Amy and Garth for driving 2.5 hours to hang out with friends old and new, and a big thanks to Jerry for the sneak peeks, and picking up the tab for lunch. That's just how he rolls. :thumbup:
We'll be having one of our Chop-In events in May. Maybe Garth can bring the Killa Zilla back and we can knock down some trees merely unsheathing the beast.
