I've found a knife that is so close to being perfect for me. but i really don't want a lockback -_- I just want a liner lock and thumb stud. Anyone else know a knife similar to this but with liner lock and thumb stud? It needs to be from a good maker. I feel as though i've looked everywhere!

That is a nice looking knife there. My perfect knife would probably be a BM 710 with better g10 scales, a little thicker blade and no swedge

I actualy own a Fox Maniago 594 for about 16 years. I bought 2 of them at the time. One is worn out and the other was saved. I think it looks nice too. The steeltype 440a is not exactly what I want these days. But on the other hand the knives are well build with brass liners and a solid lock back. This is mine..

My 20 years old Puma 705 Solingen knife comes close to the Fox model. Puma still produces this 4-Star Series.

Today I cary a Fallkniven PXL Ivory Micarta, 3G laminated steel, HRC 62.
Solid liner lock with early lock up and Stainless steel liners and bolster.
The one comes close to custom level. They also have a Maroon Micarta version. But it costs 3 times the Fox price

That is a beautiful fox sir.
The fox and the puma 4 star are very similar.

I like the fatter blade to handle ratio on the fox though.

Still no liner locks i fancy though.
