Near Perfect Knives

My Ti Bump was perfect. My H&B Forge spike hawk was perfect as well. Every Busse family blade I have ever ordered has been absolutely perfect.

...now thats not fair

jvan,
I've had a similar experience to you. The GEC Northfield No.25 Barehead Jack I have is more or less IT! Traditional slipjoints, because of their old fashioned and rather intricate construction, might be more prone to faults than more modern production knives:gaps, uneven fit,pins/shield bolsters being proud etc But this has none of these or any roughness at all,the stag is really like oak bark, dark, grooved and well matched.and the springs...not for the weak of nail!

My Bark River Escort Boot knife in Red Micarta is also near perfect(by no means do all BR knives get this good,I have several so they can vary..)can't find fault with the knife, can't stand the ludicrous sheath though.

The Moki small bone lockback in 154 is another close to bullseye knife, really well finished.

If a knife WERE perfect it might stop me from the eternal and wonderful quest of find THE next knife, think of that1 AAaaaarrrghh!
