Hey guys,
Here's a cool coil spring auto I did a while back. The steel is kind of a Dagwood, with butterflies in radials, a twisted basketweave, and a really tight twisted jellyroll that John Fitch made. We had a good time metal-mashing at Pete and John's shop. Everything else just kind of fell into place. Blade Gallery did the triple exposure. It turned out really well.
Let me hear what you think.

Perry, I see you bought a membership. GOOD ON YA!

Pretty little knife too.:)

Very nice, classy design and well executed! The color in the damascus adds alot of flair.:)

I went to BladeGallery hoping to see this and other pieces for sale, but it doesn't look like you have anything for sale right now.:grumpy:

The damascus is a little busy for my taste (I would have liked to see it contrasted with some smooth ebony inlays or something), but I think that "elephant's eye" that appears on the back side of the blade is a very neat outgrowth of the pattern. I also think the filework is really nicely done.
