Neck gaiter or buff?

Living in Florida I use a camo-colored Buff for sun protection while fishing, and during the hunting season I use it as face mask.

When it does get cold (it was 28 degrees a few mornings ago) I wear a drab-colored polyester neck gaiter over the Buff to protect my neck from the cold wind.

The totally tubular ones from turtle fur are great and come in different weights and thicknesses and they're very versatile

The Buff (brand name) with incorporated insect repellant was a lifesaver while fishing in Alaska. I have a couple Buffs and use them often in cold weather and/or for UV protection while fly fishing.

living in Florida, I don't even know what a 'buff' is. :D

I live in the desert and wear two of them, one neckerchief style and the the other sahariane style under my wide brim hat for both sun protection and sweat managment. Done that for many years. They are made from Coolmax fabric that is great in hot weather and cold, last forever.

...................... Been using a silk one ever since. Love it. It's comfy and bunches up so small in a pocket it's no inconvenience. In fact I've folded it and carried it in the lid of a hat many many times.

Just returned from india
Purchased a silk scarf
I agree with the above
