Neck-knife lover needs a hand

Anyone know a good online source for spools of black #3 ball chain. I'd like to use it on neck sheaths, but couldn't really find any after a search on yahoo. Any help would be appreciated, thanks...

Have you tried covered neck chains? These are the same things that Rob Simonich is using on his neck knives. He takes regular ball chain and a length of paracord, rips out the "guts" of the paracrod and threads the ball chain through. This provides the best of both worlds: the comfort of paracord resting on the neck while retaining the safety break-away feature of a ball chain. I really like these, in fact I have converted all of my neck knives to this covered chain. I found out the hard way that the black ball chains, when exposed, will leave nasty black marks on the inside of your shirt collar if you wear dress shirts. Rob had a whole bunch of these neck chains with him at the Blade Show he can sell you a few if you are interested. Drop him an email at knives@mt.net

Go one or two sizes larger than milspec dog dag chain...
I can't be sure what size,,but dog tag chain is too thin...
