Neck knife? Which one? Who wears one?

What did you do to get that finish on the bottom one?

I traded for it that way. The guy I got it from said he used paint stripper and various grades of sandpaper to remove the original black coating.

How would these traditional knives compare to a punch dagger? How do you guys feel about the Emerson La Griffe?

I'm guessing the traditional knives perform better for such tasks as package opening, food prep, game cleaning, wood working and so on. The punch dagger is likely superior for sentry removal.

That little knife has been with me for more than 2 years now. I sanded down a little rubber O-ring washer that sits under the tension screw. It only comes out when I want it out! D)
