I think that the Bark River Micro 2 is one of the best.

It has enough of a handle to be really useable.

i have a BRKT mikro... it is one of my favorite EDC knives... a lot of knife in a small package...

i recently scored this BRKT little creek... i love it... it has got to be one of the most solid feeling knives, in it's size range.... i have wanted one forever..:D

Hey Blues?

Looking at your album there, and of course your pic of your Reeves was what got me ordering mine, but something I was wondering:

Have you noticed Reeves more recent hatchets seem to have more ground out of them than yours or mine do?

What I mean is where on mine the head sort of rises to where the handle comes thru and then goes down again to the other bit. On the newer ones the rise is much more extreme, more like a bump? Not sure if it is easier for him to do them that way or the purpose is to make them lighter.

I see what you mean, hollowdweller but I don't know the reason for it.
Be interesting to get Lee's take on it if you feel like shooting him an email.

I didn't have time to read this page but it has something to do with neckers :D

i skimmed through and didn't find any busses mintioned. I highly recomend the busse skelly warden its expensive(~$180) but well worth it. if interested PM me.

I've had a couple that i really liked.
livesay woo
mmhw neck knife don't remember the model, kinda weird but i liked it.
my current love a brkt psk
neck knives come in pretty handy especially when canoing or fishing.

I'll second the Barkies, Scott Gossman's, and Charlie May's.

I'll through in Blind Horse Knives Tiger Knapp or Patch knife.

I quite like carrying a #1 Mora around my neck. Both Mors Kochanski and Cody Lundin have advocated this type of carry for years and they are still around. That being said, I do use a break-away lanyard on my Mora. I scavenged the cord from a Rapala fishing kit. It is sort of a foam fabric, like a sunglasses lanyard. I do so much winter snowshoeing I find the quick access handy. Around your neck, it does not get in the way of a backpack hip belt and you always know where the knife is. My .02
