How many of you carry one on a daily basis? I may be going out with a friend to shoot air rifles and decided that today i'm going to carry my Meyerco Necklance around my neck. I want to see if A) Anybody notices and B) if itll be any use to me in the woods. I'm going to leave the SAK at home just to see how well i fare without it.

I used to carry a Jeff Hall Hellion on the belt end of my wallet chain. Now my old lady has it on her keys. It's so small that it really goes unseen and unfelt.

Yes I carry a Becker BK11 as my EDC. I mostly carry it on my belt, not around my neck that much.

Nobody notices as it is concealed under a shirt either way I choose to carry it. And it is very handy in the woods, that is what Mr Becker designed it for.:)

I've been trying to find different ways to carry it! I just can't. Here's a pic:

Is the bladesteel anything to trust?

I carry my RAT Cutlery Izula daily...but I carry it in my right front pocket looped to my belt. I've just never been able to stand having a knife hanging around my neck. :)

I like carrying a neck knife as a 3rd choice or so (Usually have a folder & slippy in my pockets). My favorites are a HAK, Emerson La Griffe, & Spyderco SPOT. Not sure if HAK has "cleaned" up their act & SPOT's are getting harder to find (& more expensive), but the La Griffe is a great all around neck knife. The little BM 210/211's aren't bad, either (5.5" OAL, 2 1/8" S30V/D2 blade). The Nemesis Hellion is a great little knife, but was too small to handle well for my meat hooks.

Let us know how it worked out, but I doubt anyone'll notice.

Ummmm.....You live in Connecticut?

If so leave it at home. It falls under a "Dirk" .

I recently (coming on two months ago) purchased a BK11 which I very often chose to neck carry when I am out and about. I can't say I EDC it, but when I walk out the door, it is coming with me nine times out of ten... even if I don't intend to wear it for one reason or another.

Living in TX this time of year, 99% of the time I am in little more than a loose, lightweight, printed t-shirt. In the car, I have it out for reasons of comfort and when I get out, it gets stuffed down the shirt with none are the wiser.

When the wind is whipping, I'm sure I have a bit of printing going on; however, I figure any serious confrontation about the knife will take place indoors in a place of business where it is unlikely to be noticed under shirt. Even if it were, the knife is perfectly legal in the state and if it's going to cause a big fuss I'll just leave, never to return.

The BK11 is a tad on the large side of neck knives, it seems. For me, at the length of chain I have it on, it is only ever uncomfortable for me if I am sitting down, slouching.
