harkamus, wow, I may have to rethink my two choices because that Coye Ridgeback looks SWEET! Love the curves on that thing. My only concern is that the handle may be a bit too thick for neck carry...I don't want it printing through my shirt. How do you carry it--neck, pocket, or belt? Is there any way you can give me a measurement on the handle thickness? Thanks!

It's very thick which is they way I like my handles. I have long fingers. Having said that, when I got the knife I had every intention of carrying it on a belt or in my pocket. It comes with a Tek-lok. Because of the sculpted g10, it fits the hand like a glove. The handles are about 3/4 inches thick, so unless you absolutely have to neck carry it, I would not get one. If you can live with carrying on a belt or in the pocket, than this is the knife I suggest. It's hand made and reasonably priced.

I love it because it packs a lot of blade in as small a package as possible. It has a great blade to handle ratio. The handles may be short, but the grip and shape of it make it very secure in the hand. Also, I never liked having something that many people had, even if just a forum community. If you get a Coye Ridgeback, you can be rest assured that not many people have them. I can only think of a few people on these forums that actually have a Ridgeback.

I started carrying a neck wallet a couple months ago. It sure has made life a lot easier when riding a motorcycle. I carry a Rajah 2 zipped up in the pocket of my armoured riding jacket. But lately I've been neck carrying one of the little CS Beavertail Tac knives hanging behind my wallet. Turns out to be a real handy location. I just ordered a Tops Baghdad Bullet and a BM DP Rant to also try out in the neck carry category. I think I'll pick up one of the Buck Mayo S30V neckers and have a go at making some scales for it.
