Does anyone know where I can get a well concealed neck knife. All the ones that I've seen have been too large or screamed "I have a knife around my neck". Even the ones hidden in the necklaces are too obvious. CAn anyone help?

I think the Emerson/Perrin Griffe might fit your needs pretty well. I'm not sure exactly what you mean by "well-concealed," as this will vary depending on your build and clothing. If you just want to be unobtrusive, you could consider a small fixed blade in a horizontal belt sheath. Can you give us some more guidance as to what you're looking for?

I'm a short woman with a very small build. I'm looking for a short flat neck knife in a sheath that can be worn openly without being noticed. I've seen them before in Filipino Weapons magazines. Even just an extremely small neck knife would do, maybe I could were it at the back of my neck underneath my hair. I already have bought a horizontal belt knife and very useful it is too

RJ Martin does a neat knife in an aluminum tube, anodized it looks like some new wave jewelery.

When you say for concealment purposes, are you intending for potential emergency/ rapid access use? If so, hanging it on your back underneath your hair is not suitable for obvious reasons.

Copfish mentioned the Combat Neck Knife from Randy Martin. It is constructed of blackened A2 tool steel and is tubular in handle construction and almost triangular in blade shape. It almost resembles a dart. The handles are paracord wrapped in OD and the entire unit is housed in a section of a genuine aluminum arrow shaft. It is colored in earthtones camouflage. It is suspended in an OD paracord as well (other colors available). It actually resembles an African decorative piece as RJ describes it. OAL is approximately 8". Not short for a neck knife by any means but thin and non cumbersome.

There are other smaller pieces such as the already mentioned Emerson La Griffe, SOP by Wicked Knive, and the Szabo Baby Uuk. But they don' t hide in "plain sight" as well. Good luck and welcome to the forums.

Think about CRKT Bear Claw if you are looking for small defensive fixed blade for urban concealed carry. Slightly customizing mine I have made it much flatter, lighter and maybe somewhat prettier

If you need more versatile design for utility tasks and/or self defense think about Fällkniven model WM1.
