NECKA Hammer-In Demo Requests/Sign Ups

not a whole lot, but I do have all the stuff to try it. I can bring all my stuff again this year if needed.

Are we really going to do a steel smelt? If so, what are we going to need for supplies? I'll start scrounging stuff up now.

this is going to be a great H/I :D thanks guys..
George Dailey has just offered to do a
stone setting demo or making landyard rings in wax for casting
in silver or gold . what would you like to see? and
we'll post what it will be ASAP.. thanks George

I am in

very cool Page, thank you
will you be bringing everything you need for a steel smelt ?
I have green casting sand and stuff if you need it ? there a few things I need to learn

Jerry yes the same as you brought before will be great thank you..

a couple bags of hardwood lump charcoal for spares is not a bad idea, if someone has an old wheelbarrow we can mix clay and straw in and 4 dry cinderblocks that would be great

Note! George Dailey will be doing and maybe more , I just needed to verify it

A lanyard ring demo on Sunday. Maybe a hands on,
where everyone can make a master model of their L ring

Chris Kravit may be doing the leather demo in my place I'm thinking that would be a cool change for you guys  I'll be talking to him about that more at the Ncca show, if he does do it maybe I can do another heat treat with A/O if you all would like that?

it's all going to be good so get on board and registered guys.. this will be one of the big daddy's coming down the road for us..

This is good news!! I'm really interesting in the landyard ring casting!! Cool stuff.
I'll see if i can't dig up some cement blocks. I can get a hold of coal for a coal stove if that'll be good, not sure I ever heard it called lump coal.
Didn't Mike say he'd be adding a list for the forge build? I can't seem to find it? I've got no idea what to get and where to get it.

Hi Paul thanks for the help and i don't want you getting stuff that won't work..
I believe Page refers to dry cinder blocks the type in making chimneys, cement blocks are different in the way that when they heat up they will brake with the heat..
