Had a blast IG. I'm going to post some pictures of the plumbers knife. I was grinding it earlier and the copper definately went where we were all hoping it would.Now if I can grind it straight I'm going to have a very unique piece... and if not.....I'll bury it with the rest of the screw ups in the back yard. Thanks for the use of the equipment to make it happen.

I really didn't think it was going to work.

once Joe cleaned up the end and got it in the etch instead of the ATF

it was looking good at that point..

I want to see pics of that too...you could see the copper in there but not in detail.....The only thing I'd be worried about was any copper along the cutting edge....not sure what pattern you went for or if it had a solid core, though. Might be awesome in a laminated billet.
