May I see in-hand pictures? I'm worried about the size of the 'ring' since I ashamedly admit I have little girly hands (but gorilla biceps... man I look weird...).
 
Pics are up, I have med size hands if that makes any difference. The hole was cut out with a 1" hole saw and then sanded out smooth, so its prob about 1.08" wide.
 
Ahhh... Band-aids. It's easy to spot knife lovers. Very nice by the way. I like it.
