I'm looking for a necker for under $50.00, give me some info on what's out there, I know blind horse has one for around $30?????????

Izula, or Becker bk2. I'd go with the Becker Necker, becuase it's a little bigger, bottle opener, and it's cheaper.

If youget a blindhorse, let me know how you like that steel they use.

The Izula is IMO a perfect execution of a production neck knife.

Any bigger and it should be a belt knife. Plus it has a sheath that can be used for just about anything.

I don't think I'd want to hang my bk2 from my neck. :D. The bk13 is the one with the bottle opener.

I have a Becker and love it. If you want a custom, contact David Farmer. He made some very nice ones for a little less than that and some for a little more than that depending on the handle material. Mine came with a functional little kydex sheath. I bought one in osage orange from him last year and love it, too. I think even more than my Becker actually. I cannot describe how sharp the little bugger is. Here is the old thread so you can see what he offered and a photo of mine.

I just got an Izula... I had been skeptical for a while.. but finally broke down. Man, what a great little knife.

You can get it right about $50...

IF you really want to go cheap, Ka-Bar makes the TDI LDK or "Last Ditch Knife" which you can find on-line with a little searching for not much more than $10.

Very small and light. It's a decent enough little example of the neck knife for back up use.

RAT Cutlery Izula, hands down. It is, actually, my favorite production knife I've ever owned.

JK knives (Stomper) makes a three finger necker that I believe is either 50 or 60 bucks.

He also has a new "Long" tin knife that is 50 bucks with handle scales (cheaper if you don't want them) and would make a great neck knife.

Becker necker, or izula are great blades for around that price.. although I find the izula to be more handy.

That would be my pick !

You looking for a necker to conceal or will this be more of woods knife?

Reason I ask is iif concealing, size is more important. Otherwise, I believe weight becomes the primary concern if you looking for a woods knife.

The Izula is an excellent little knife. A bit over 50 bucks, but well worth the money. Handles great for a small, handle scale-less knife.

Rat Izula all the way! Had a BK11, gave it to my brother after I got the Izula. I carry Lil Izzy daily and it has done well!
