Time to let go...I had fun making these. All the blades are a hair under 1/8" stock except the 440C necker, santoku and 52100 fighter, and all of them were sent to Peter's for HT @ 59-60 RC except the S35VN wharnie that's at 60-61. West Systems G-Flex epoxy and stainless pins to secure them. Kydex sheaths are spaced to take a tek-lok. Prices are paypal net and include tracked shipping in the US. First come first served.
AEB-L hunter (?) $ 125
Not sure what to call this one, so I'll call it a hunter. 5 3/4" blade, 11" OAL. Homemade burlap mycarta contoured scales. To me it kinda looks like a dragon claw, so the veg tan leather sheath was tooled accordingly:
CPM S35VN wharnie $ 130
First time working S35VN, made another necker and 2 hunters, one sold one to be finished soon, all of them very slicey. 2 3/4" blade, 5 3/4" OAL. Cocobolo scales, stainless pins. Veg tan leather sheath with crocodile overlay and double loop leather lace stitching:
AEB-L zebra hunter $old
Really thought about keeping this one. Color combo really pops. Contoured zebra wood and the kydex sheath was covered in a croc pattern leather and splashed with dye to match. 4" blade, 8 1/2" OAL:
AEB-L yellowheart necker $ 55
tiny but sharp, with a 2 3/8" blade and 5" OAL. Kydex has a very good retention snap:
440C yellowheart necker $old
this is the big brother; 2 3/4" blade, 5 3/4" OAL, 5/32" thick stock with a convex edge and tight fitting taco kydex:
AEB-L purpleheart recurve necker $pf
I might make something similar in the future, really dig the way it came out. 2 3/4" blade, 5 1/4" OAL, tight fitting pancake kydex:
440C ebony santoku cleaver $ 160
This thing is big and sharp, will make short work of carving up a dinosaur. 5/32" thick stock, 9 1/2" blade, 14 1/4" OAL with a rounded and polished spine, no sheath:
52100 fighter $ 275
sexy and lethal, I wanted to create something that would look good and be a solid performer. The stabilized box elder burl handle was finished to a working 600 grit that is not slippery, and secured with brass pins. The full flat ground 3/16" stock blade is 7 3/4" long and sharp as a mother-in-law's tongue. The Hermann Oak veg tan leather dangler style sheath has been tooled and double loop stitched, and the strap is secured/detached with a metal ring so it can be pushed out of the way for drawing and insertion, eliminating the risk of cutting it off. 12 1/2" OAL.
Thanks for looking, and remember, Beckerheads and Ka-Bar Krew get 10% off. Have a great day.
