I don't know the pull weight, to free the knife from the sheath you have to pull like you really mean it. I guarantee it will not come off accidentally.

I bought one of these a couple years ago (with damascus steel) & the knife is VERY secure when in the sheath. Nothing to worry about there.

Gold Lip Pearl Necker received. absolutely beautiful ! esp. the pearl scales, very bright, warm and 'alive', none of which comes through in the pics.
sweet little balanced and sharp knife. i'm very pleased i spoke for it and that i chose this one. and the sheath is excellent; magnetic retention is strong; swing it around, knock it, knife doesn't even shift it's position slightly.
so Thank You Bob. you make excellent knives and this one is a winner !
