Well, I feel that my life will be more complete and fulfilling if I buy just one more knife. I've bought so many more knives since I started posting here :D

Here are the requirements:

-No more than $50 street price (slightly negotiable . . . if none at that price point exist I can possibly go up to $70 if it is an absolutely amazing knife, $60 would be easier though)
-NOT THE BUCK VANTAGE PRO, I ALREADY OWN IT!!! Not the Spyderco Native either, because I want to consider other options
-A locking folder
-Blade must be at least 3"
-Must be S30V steel
-Must be lefty friendly with reversible clip!!! *edited in*

I know there aren't too many S30V blades that are 3" or more for $50 max, but I'm cheap :) Or at least, the only way I can justify to myself adding another knife to my armory-like collection is if I don't break the bank. I already have the Vantage Pro, but the one I got had horrible blade play, so I need a S30V that locks up decently. And the Spyderco Chicago is just not a big enough blade for me.

Thanks for your help everyone!

You guys  he's already got a vantage pro.

I'd suggest you send it in to Buck for adjusting. They have great CS and will fix up your knife good. Don't give up on it, I truly think it is the best folder $50 can buy.

He says that he dosn't want a Buck Vantage pro, but the Kershaw Alalanche is pretty sick and it's like $45.

The correct answer is the now discontinued and very inexpensive Kershaw Avalanche. No ifs, ands, or buts...Period.

There is a S30V Leek that runs about $70 with G10 grips. Haven't tried it but I imagine that, being a Kershaw, it's pretty good.

Disclaimer - I have a Vantage Pro, too, and like it a lot.

5.11 karambit, but it has 2 3/4" blade the s30v version is 50 bucks.

It's no where near 50 bucks. The Journeyman comes in 154 cm and costs around 75 bucks. The Master version comes in s30v and costs around 105.

CaffeinePirate I know that you have expresses that you do not want a Buck Vantage pro and I have no experience with it but I hear that it is an excellent knife and the Spyderco Native and it is one of my fathers favorite EDC knives. The new Spyderco Cat and Chicago look like solid little designs also.

maybe we are talking about different knives here I'm talking about "5.11 Tactical C.U.B Master's Knife" that can be found on lapolicegear

I will eat my words. I don't know why those are so cheap. It did say closeout on them. Maybe 5.11 isn't making these knives anymore. Had I the money, I'd pick one of these up for 49.99.

Thanks for giving me the heads up on the radical price. We are indeed talking about the same knife.

I'm in the same boat m8. For that price I'd just get one to have one. But folding karambit isn't exactly my cup of tea. Its a combat knife might be great for self defense, but I'm trained with reverse grip blade inward and the karambit isn't well suited for it. So while I'd be able to flick that one open pretty fast in order to be comfortable with it I'd have to flip it blade down, that takes time that you don't have in defense situations. I like Emerson karambits because they can be opened using their pocket hook. that way I figure finger in a hole, pull up and its open and reversed in your hand. If the 5.11 had that feature, I'd be all over that. Otherwise I just don't see myself ever using that knife, but tis just me, for someone who uses it blade up its a great little knife for the price.
I'm actually talking about trading my carbon fiber spyderco military for Emerson right now, just to see how I like the knife style which is new to me.
