Hi guys need a nice folder for Groomsman and best man. Something wood handled or custom looking. But not like the case classic knives. Modern folder. Usa/ Canada german or Japan. Maybe Taiwan. No China
The 1911 grip knives look really good. Made in Canada which is nice.
Crkt ripple?
Griptilian?
mcusta knives look nice any one use them?
Lone wolf has some wood handles.
Need something nice rugged useful.

I would recommend a mcusta... Never owned one but I think they would be the most fitting, and from what I hear the tactility is pretty nice

If to pay the price of a Mcusta go with the Benchmade Shoki or Megumi instead. Fit and finish on Mcusta is not good. I'll try and think of others. Lion steel has some they make in all wood handles. The Sage 4 is great.

What is your price range. I got my groomsmen Case Mini Copperlocks engraved with their first initial, last name. It was a big hit.

I got different knives for my groomsmen and Best Man. Best Man got a Bradley Alias II, one groomsman got a Spyderco Sage I, and the other groomsman got a Spyderco Gayle Bradley.

Swiss army knife they can buy any where even if its wood its not that interesting. Maybe the Sterling silver mosel but its still so common.
The lion steel stuff is nice. I think I will get 3 different knives just need to choose .

Price range is up to $120

Lionsteel mini looks great and has poket clip. One site says wood presentation box one says leather pouch. Can it be both?

I just got married about 8 weeks ago and ended up getting my groomsmen Mcusta Damascus knives.

I got one the Tactility in Ebony and the other the Basic Damascus in Cocobolo.

They are beautiful knives and they LOVED them. In fact, once I saw them, I decided that I needed a couple of Mcusta blades for myself. To the person who said that the fit and finish on Mcusta blades is not good, they have obviously never owned, or likely ever even seen one. The fit and finish on both blades that I gave as gifts were perfect. In fact, every Mcusta knife I have ever seen was perfect, and I've seen, and now own, quite a few since then. Perfectly centered with absolutely NO blade play in any direction. Super smooth opening. They glide on those Teflon washers, and flick open with a silky smoothness that is really addicting. The handles are shaped beautifully and the really nice polished pocket clip is definitely the way to go over the belt pouch. Liner lockup on both were around 25-30%. They are honestly perfect in every aspect and exactly what I think most groomsmen would love to have. I've gotten too many crappy SAK's and cheap Boker/Gerber/Etc over the years, and I know many others have as well. The Mcusta, in my opinion, is heads and shoulders above any knife I've received as a groomsmen gift and I know my groomsmen felt the same way.

You really can't go wrong with Mcusta. They are awesome looking knives, come out of the box with a wicked sharp edge, can get a Damascus VG-10 core blade for $120 bucks, and they are a great blend of functionality and gentlemanly-looking knives.

You can try to buy them knives based on what they do for a living. My Best Man works in a retail environment so I figured the small Alias ii would work out well as it is sheeple friendly to use around customers. One of my Groomsmen is a State Trooper so the rugged and tough, but good looking, Gayle Bradley went to him. My other Groomsman works as a chef and a bartender so I figured that the full flat ground blade on the Sage would work out well for him if he needed to cut something on the fly, it also just makes a nice EDC.

kershaw wild turky if you can find them, they are really nice and there is a place you can get their initials engraved into them

Get the all a Spyderco Sage.
Get one a Spyderco Sage 1.
Another a Spyderco Sage 2.
And the last a Spyderco Sage 3 or 4.

They are all very nice knives.

Or I think the ripple is beautiful. Check out some Kershaws if you want "Rugged but Nice".

Also look into maybe the Kershaw Skyline in different colors.
The forum Kershaw Skyline is awesome.
Or you can get a Kershaw Skyline with custom Scales from Kryptoglow?

what do you think of the lionsteel dagonetta in g10 and the lionsteel mini ?

is there a nice benchmade around $100 that is solid looking like the adamas?
