  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Need a chicken killin' tool.

Thatsa good point for folks who have never done it..I always double check by holding my fingers around its rib cage so i can tell if its heart it still beating or not.
I've killed many rabbits in a similar fashion using a small club - hammer handle - blunt object. In one instance the rabbit was only paralyzed. Though it was motionless it's eyes followed me. I felt bad and gave that one another whack.

On turkeys I've used a valiant golok loka, a parang i forged back in'96, and various other things (including a s&w kit gun)- now I tend to use a little knife and stick 'em behind the windpipe. They can still breathe so they don't panic. Just bleed out.
