Newgraham knives.
DLT trading
Sage creek outfitters.
Bladematrix.
All good online sources and trusty
I would also suggest either a Spyderco native at wallmart, a great knife, for about 40 bucks. or one of the other mid range priced spydies.
I would offer that a good pocket lockback would be a great knife for him, however, with the current feelings about weapons in schools, he has to be really care ful about remembering to leave it at home. My son forgot his after work the other day and spent the whole day walking around with his clipped to his pocket till his sister noticed it on the way out of the lunch room.
Maybe for that reason, a good decent fixed back might be less tempting to take to school, or less likely to inadvertently ride the bus with him.
on the last note. on a knife of that price level, buying online is almost certainly cost nearly as much as buying locally due to the shipping costs, look close at the final cost before buying.
