Need a Knife for fathers day

Thanks for all the suggestions guys, I've been looking at all of them.

Also look at the seconds section at AG Russell's...he has the 4 inch drop point in a second at your price range. I have bought seveal of the seconds, they carry the full warranty and you normally have to work at finding the fault. The only mark to show they ar seconds is a notch at the tang.

What exactly are the imperfections, is it like a nick or a scratch in the handle? Think you could take a pic of an imperfection on one of yours so I could see, if not no big deal.

Also are the AG Russell's a good EDC knife or are they more for collecting because my dad will definitley be using it to cut things and will probably not even think it costs as much as it does.

Again thanks for all the responses so far.

The AG Russell is made to be used, the blade is made from VG-10 which is probably the best stainless available. It is sharp from day one and and holds it's edge well and is easy to sharpen. Can't really show you pics of the imperfections on my. On one of them I never found what made it be a second unless it was a couple of very small scratches on one of the scales, after a couple of days in my pocket I put worse scratches on it myself...lol.
The other had a very slight catch in the frame lock. When closing it would catch a tiny bit right before the frame lock released the blade. After opening and closing the knife a couple dozen times it disappeared.

How about this one?

A bit over $75 and comes with VG-10 blade and linen micarta scales

Do you guys think this a classy looking knife? I think the gold accents make it look nice and my dad might enjoy the S.A.T. http://www.davesknifeworld.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=12993

Since I'm ordering I might as well get myself a little sumtin' sumtin' also since I'm a dad too. I fell in love with this once I saw it...

Also if you guys might know of somewhere cheaper to get these I'm all ears.

Does you father currently use/carry a knife normally? Does he have a favorite pattern or brand that reminds him of his childhood or bears some importance in his life? I gave my dad a refurbished Case stockman a couple of years back that is identical to his first "good" knife (a Case he bought 50 years ago and now has its remains in his safe). He treasures that knife more than any possession he owns I think.
