Need a knife for my old lady

TKC---YER a woman? You have great taste in knives!

I was thinking the same thing. Hate to stereotype, but I automatically assume most of the people on this site are male, even though my sister collects knives and swords.

Unfortunately the ones she collects are junk, and I'm just now getting her to pick better quality. She likes the 555 Mini Griptilian I gave her, reathough.

Does it have to be a knife specifically, not a multitool? The sister has 2 SAK's a classic mini--in pink--and a cybertool in clear blue.

My girlfriend commented on the looks of the Leatherman Skeletool she saw me looking at online, and I'm thinking of getting her one for her birthday. The CX model even comes in 154cm.

In some ways, women are lucky. You can carry more knives and more fun stuff in a purse than a wallet :D

How about a Boker Subclaw? ... there are folks that can replace the handles with something prettier. Hawkbills are great for cutting those hard plastic shells used to enclose products. Or a Blade Tech, Mouse Lite or Spyderco Lava.

My wife has a Spyderco Ladybug on her keychain and she's very happy with it. for any bigger cutting tasks (which happen maybe once every few months) she turns to me :D

I would have to say any of the Mcusta series of knives would be both feminine enough to please her as well as being a true working knife.

Check out the Benchmade 921. It's a really pretty functional knife. That said, I got one for me wife, and while she carries it, she switches off between it and my old mini-afck.

I have yet to be able to keep a Kershaw of my own.

My wife has claimed everyone I've ever bought. She has a Chive in rainbow, Black and Silver. A Leek in silver and rainbow. A Mini Mojo in silver and a bunch more I can't remember...

She loves that they are slim and out of the way and that they open so fast.

I take back my first statement. She did give me back the Boa. To slow and bulky she said. :D

How about a nice small Sebenza done up pretty? A women who likes a pocket knife would apreciate that.

I gave my wife a couple of SAK's and a CS small Trail Guide (carbon steel blade folder, which they don't make any more). She didn't like any of them, but each knife helped her to define what she wanted: a small, fine edged, open assisted and aesthetically pleasing knife. I gave her the Chive Rainbow, and she loves it.
