Need a Knife made if Possible???

I am looking for someone to make me a knife that resembles a bark river Northstar. I love the narrow blade of the Northstar but it is WAY too thick for it's width. Any help would be great. Please PM me.

I just like the design of the knife. It is 1" wide and 4" long. I does not have to be fancy. Basic micarta handle and made of 1095,O1 or something. The lanyard thing on the end is not important but a full or slightly thru tang is. I want it for a good camp knife that will stand up to the outdoors and ME!

Just an option.... I made this knife for me as my new EDC, since I gave my other one away as a gift. I would sell it to you if you really want it.

It is 440C stainless, HT to about 58-59 RC.

It fits the dimensions you mentioned perfectly. The sheath is made for in the pocket carry, but I have another for it that is also leather and made for belt carry.

It has a file pattern that goes the entire length of the spine. It also has white liners between the maroon linen micarta handles and the steel.

If you really want it, It will be $165 with shipping.


I am leaving early Saturday morning for a trip that will take me out of town until the following Saturday. So if I dont hear from you tomorrow, I wont respond for a while.

By the way, the steel is 5/32 thick

Thankyou for the offer but I am not looking for anything fancy. Just a knife in size and style to the Northstar but with a thinner than the .170 that is used.

Buy the north star and have Tom Krein re-grind it for you.
