OK here's the story. This is not an expensive knife but it's the least I can do for this guy.
Lemme tell the story.
First off, sorry if this is the wrong area.
This guy is a friend of mine. A good friend. We live in South Loisiana where all the flooding occurred. This fella was out all night every night helping people with his boat. He actually lost his truck when the flood came up while he was out. He rescued two elderly from a submerged vehicle. Then he would work all day (he works with and indirectly for me). He did this for 4 days, moving south as the backwater flooding did.
Now, on top of all that, once the rescues where finished, he had to help his dad gut his house. And he came and helped me (against my objections as many people need more help than me) plus his daughter refuses to accept any payment for babysitting my daughter and stepson while we are gutting my house! A 17 year old girl made a grown ass man cry.
This knife was in his truck when it flooded and it cracked. He asked me who he could send it to to have it rehandled cause he just likes it.
I want to have it rehandled for him. It's the least I can do for what he and his girl have done for me (she will get a dinner on me). I know it's not an expensive knife, but can any one of you gentlemen do this for me?
