OK I asked you guys about leather sheaths and most of you said to use Ilbruche. I did and I am very happy with the sheath and the service was excellent also. Now I need a kydex sheath for a Fiddleback Bushcrafter Jr I have coming soon. So who do you guys recommend for good kydex with not too bad of a turnaround time?

Eric at On/scene tactical is the MAN when it comes to Kydex (imho).
I will only trust his work for my knives and great to deal with.

I have a link for him on my website , if you click on my sig you will find it.

He goes by Normark around here.

Lot of Kydex benders on the forum David Brown from Buy Brown,Okuden and Steelnut come to mind right off the top of my head.

You definitely need to get in touch with Jeff Hamilton. His forum name is JeffH. He does great work at a fair price and turn around is good. I have had Jeff do a couple of unique sheaths for me recently and I couldn't have asked for anything better.

We are not making sheaths for other makers knives at this time. We are trying to get caught up on regular orders. You could try Blade Tech.

Mashed Cat Outfitters makes my favorite Kydex sheath, so far. He's a forum member and supplies sheaths for Busse Combat.

Stay sharp,

I would highly reccomend Jeff H. He is a regular here and does excellent Kydex work. He is a great guy and a pleasure to speak with.

I would also recomment Eric at Mashed Cat. His website is:

Just a few weeks ago I sent in a Chris Reeves MK VI for a Safety Orange Kydex Sheath. Eric was scary fast. He received the CRK MK VI one day and the next the sheath & knife were in the mail. The retention and fit is fantastic.

I'll second recommending Jeff H. Don't really own any of his kydex, but we got to talking about his approach to sheathmaking when I recently purchased a Fowler from him. His communication and business propriety make him a class act and several here on WSS have displayed his work.

Dan Koster makes custom kydex sheath's for a reasonable price.

He's done it for other maker's and production knives that I've sent him.

Here is another vote for Jeff H. This is a sheath he made for one of my knives for a customer.

Here are a couple of Normark's fit to Breeden knives. Also excellent retention. Love the combo of sheaths for the Kat knife.
