Hey guys. Alright, quick story. So I recently saw a video of a knife by Kyley (CkC knives) from New Zealand. It was a Svord knife that he made into a fixed blade and I absolutely loved the idea and style and everything about it. I emailed Kyley and apparently his business has picked up nicely and as his business grows he no longer does these cheap mods.
His advice was to buy a Svord Peasant and make it a project knife and make one myself. Problem is, I just can't do that kinda work, no tools, no talent.. lol
So I was wondering if anyone here could be like a one stop shop and make this for me for a reasonable price.. I think he was selling em for like 30 bucks. I would provide my peasant knife for the work.
What I would want done..
-The blade/tang removed from the handle and fitted with wooden grips
-Knife sharpened nicely with a screaming convex edge
-Small taco style Kydex sheath made that could be wrapped with paracord or worn as a neck knife (firesteel loop would be awesome too)
Fit and finish does NOT have to be perfect at all. I don't mind a rough and tumble look. What I'm looking for is pure functionality.. I'm also willing to let the maker be pretty creative as far as choices go.. gotta let an artist be an artist.. Lemme know if you can help..
