Need a new Necker - MUST BE STAINLESS - Suggestions - PHOTOS PLEASE - ?

All EXCELLENT choices. I think I'll go with a Black Jack, the Falky, or the Hogue until the Survive!Knives Necker II comes out. It will be in CPM-20V I hope and should be perfect for my needs.
If I read my internet right, CPM-20V is the American equivalent to Bohler M390.

Is that correct??

Here's the blurb on Bohler M390:

Bohler-Uddeholm martensitic Chromium steel with very high wear and corrosion resistance. Fine grained alloy, popular choice for high end folders and small fixed blades. working hardness up to 62HRC.

Latrobe CPM 20CV is listed as a proprietary version of that steel, so they should be exactly the same steel, just different names.

Hey, I live in Houston as well.... Since you said you do kydex work, would it be possible to talk about a couple of sheaths I need made? My email address is: platedude@gmail.com

Just shoot me an email if that would be possible. Thanks!

WRKT makes a couple nice neckers in S30V, my favorite is the Knucklehead. Also a fan of the BRKT Bravo. The Blackjack is nice too.

I already owned the White River Knucklehead before and sold it. Not a fan of the chisel grind. If they made that knife with any other grind, it would be awesome and I would own one again. Love the S30V.

You should look at the Tops Mil Spie 3. 154CM with Bos heeat-treatment. I have a lot of experience with that knife and it is a good, strong knife and easy to use.

Great looking blade but at 8" overall, it's just too big. I need to be under 6" and really closer to 5" would be better. I have large hands but this isn't a hard use knife so a 3 or even a 2 finger grip is okay.

I'm not opposed to changing the profile of the handle to fit my needs. If a blade came in at 6" or over (there are a lot of knives that fit this measurement), I could reprofile the handle and take some off, provided there is room to do so and scales aren't an issue. I can make my own new custom scales to fit as well, if needed.

Emailed you about the custom kydex work.

Before you make your decision, look at the Bradford Knives Guardian3. It's made in M390 and it fits your requirements quite well.
