Need a new tent

Hey guys thanks for all the help but I just ordered the Cabelas Alaskan Guide 6. They have a promo going with 5 dollar shipping for all items over $150 and I became a cabelas club member and got a few more bucks off, so I couldn't pass it up. When it gets here if anyone is interested I will take some pics and do a review. Chris

I've always liked the idea of big roomy tents but never have bought one as we graduated to truck campers and camping vans (and a great big fifth wheel) when traveling with the family. I've still got my old Quest Fifth Season which is an expo quality tent similar to the REI Half Dome design but sturdier and, I think taller.

It's a shame Quest went out of business because their tents were top notch.

I have a Eureka Tetragon 8 8'x7' tent that is a family tent as opposed to a guide tent, so it will wear a little quicker, but we're just occasional campers. It's really nice though, and is really weathertight. I haven't had in too much wind, but it's a two pole, self standing tent, and stakes out really easy.
