guys whats a good palm kinda handheld comp? not too much money, good memory, colour screen, just need it for a pharmacy drug software,

It's a great device with a top notch screen and can be had for less than $200.00. 33mhz processor and 8 meg of internal memory with a MemoryStick expansion slot. For a few dollars more you can still get T665s which improves over the 615 by adding a 66mhz processor and upping the memory to 16 meg of internal memory as well as adding MP3 capability. Both are slim and easy to use and have Li-on batteries.

When my Clie 710 (older, larger model) died recently, I replaced it with a Palm Tungsten T which I think smokes all the other Palm OS devices for size and speed, but of course all that comes at a price. The MP3 equipped Sonys actually sound a little better than the Tungsten because they have a hardware MP3 decoder, where the Tungsten T does it in software, but that's the least important part of a PDA to me.

I'm playing with my T-615C now. Love the high resolution screen much better than other Palm based screens.

Except for the one used on my new Tungsten. It's every bit as good as the Sony, except there's a 145mhz StrongArm processor hooked to it...hehehe

EXPANSION CARD POSSIBILITY YOU HAVE ROOM FOR EVERYTHING YOU NEED

You're nuts! A 505 screen is terrible compared to a color Clie or the new Tungsten T. The T is the first time Palm has been able to come up with a visually pleasing modern color screen IMHO. Look at the two side by side and you'll never want to see your 505 again. I had one and had to get rid of it the day I saw the first color Clies.

I'm in the market for a new Palm device too. My Handspring is wearing out. The Sony 665 is my current best bang for buck device. My inner nerd is intrigued by the Linux based Sharp Zaurus and some of the Ipaq Linux conversions.

I've had my new Tungsten T for 2 weeks now. I love it! I've seen them for $365 at Best Buy. I gave my old Palm m500 to my wife...
