Ok, I need a combo/partial serrated 3"-3.25" folder. Tip up clip too. I have so many plain edge folders it is making my head spin. My EDC for work is a mini-grip in M390. It is easily the best knife I carry. I have used this knife constantly since I got it for GP. I use it for cutting open boxes, cutting zip ties, thru strapping, etc. I do IT consulting so I am opening boxes all day. The M390 is easily the best steel I have on any folder. It has held an edge better...I am yet to sharpen it! But for cutting zip ties, strapping, webbing a straight/plain edge is just ok. My Plain edge folder favorites consists of: CS Mini lawman, lawman, HEST Folder, Mini Grip S30V, Mini Grip M390, and ZT 350. I like all and used them all extensively but prefer the mini because it fits the pocket the best, lightest, Axis is stellar, steel is perfect, and is durable enough for what I have thrown at it. I like the mini-g that is partial serration but am I missing anything? BM doesnt make the 723 anymore and I would grab one of those. Also, I am not a huge Spyderco fan, I do not like they way they open (I am faster with a thumb stud). And I do like the axis look a bit but would consider others. Let me know what you guys recommend.
