That is terrible news. Sounds like a hell of an accident. 34 is the peak of a man's physical strength, I'll bet after he heals his bones will ache a little when the weather changes, but hopefully that will be the extent of it.

I'm glad he is still with us, it sounds like it must have been a close call.

Here's an update. I am now in Oklahoma. They have him sedated. Today they put in a traque tube, bolted his jaw back together and did a camera thing to check the damage to his heart valves. The cardiac doctors are going to decide the best way to fix his heart. He is still in the trauma ICU. They still don't know if his neck is broken or not. They are slowly taking him off the sedation so he can wake up and tell them if he has neck pain. This is going to take a couple of days.So we just wait and pray.
