Maybe go with dresnor's sig "anger is a gift". Either that or Spikehawk's "this you can trust".

Both are pretty awesome!

Or you could go all military & use "This end towards enemy-->". I love that one.
 
NikkiR I think u nailed it, I've always loved that Yoda saying, and I'm a Star Wars freak. A lot of good suggestions, maybe I'll etch both sides? But definitely , do or do not, plus some SW scenery - alliance symbol and an x-wing/ tie fighter dog scrap maybe! Breaking out the drawing pad

man hoss u sure are hard to please...no LOTR, no SW...evildick, spaceballs was a funny movie but for me it's not better than SW, and yeah, even tho I like Ice T I don't see myself doing that at 3 am on the couch lol

I am a from a family of history fans and we all especially like old weapons. My Dad has a sword from the Civil War that has this etched on the blade:
"Draw me not without reason; sheath me not without honor."I googled it and it was actually a pretty common phrase used on blades. I always thought it would look cool etched down the side of a BK-9 or maybe laser etched into some sweet maple grips.

I carved that one into my Griptilian scale.
 
made up my mind... took evildick's response as a good natured challenge - it's gonna have Yoda on one side saying "do, or do not..." and the other side is gonna have a big " MuthaFracker!!" with some SW imagery. I think the 2 is gonna have Darth saying "Who's your daddy?" :D
